・Others cannot see when you are muted.

・Options cannot be opened when forming a party in your Base or the Visual Lobby, so you cannot mute yourself in these areas.
*Please try leaving the party temporarily, or not speaking into the microphone for the time being.
*You will be able to open Options and mute yourself in battle.

Balance Adjustments

Balance Adjustments for Missions after Tier 100

We have adjusted the content of some Missions that were too difficult to complete during normal play and the order in which they are achieved.

Gum Weapon Parameter Adjustments

The Ninjala development team is dedicated to ensuring that players can enjoy a wide variety of battling styles.
After careful observation of winning percentages and popularity by gum weapon and Shinobi Cards, we have implemented a host of balance adjustments.

The adjustments mainly consisted of the strengthening of the Giant Killer Shinobi Card, adjustments to Gum Boost Impact, and adjustments to the effects of Assist Codes that had low usage rates.
Adjustments to drone health and score acquisition have also been made to Battle Royale.
Other refinements and bug fixes have also been implemented to ensure a smoother, more enjoyable game experience.

We hope these refinements will allow players to continue to enjoy diverse styles of play in Ninjala battles.

Drill Beast Corn Bat Bird Drill

・The Here and There attack detection has been moved towards the front and has been made easier to hit with.

Due to the difficulty of hitting a moving opponent with Here and There, we have changed the direction of its attack and made it easier to start attacking with.

SK8 Hammer Sushi Axe GR8 Gear

・When canceling Power Buster with a jump or dodge, you will now regain some cooldown time.

Power Buster is the main attack for SK8 Hammer Type gum weapons.
Since each weapon type will gain new Alter Specials this Season, giving you more ways of attacking from afar, we have strengthened this skill in consideration of balance.

With these adjustments, you will be able to recover some cooldown time if you cancel before the attack takes place so that you can prepare your next attack faster.

Ninja Yo-yo Shinobi Spinner ASAKUSA Wheel

・The yo-yo is no longer set when holding down the attack button when performing a wide attack.

We have made it so that your yo-yo is no longer set automatically, in order to account for situations where you wouldn't want it to be set.
*If you change your Special to an Alter Special, your yo-yo will no longer be set at all.

Mellow à la Mode Trick Ball

・The yo-yo is no longer set when holding down the attack button when performing a wide attack.
・Combos can now be canceled even when only hit by normal attack and back attack blasts.

We have made it so that your yo-yo is no longer set automatically, in order to account for situations where you wouldn't want it to be set.
Plus, to account for situations where only the yo-yo blast hits and your combo will not connect, we've adjusted it so that you can now cancel combos if only the attack blast hits.

Extreme Motor DJ Scratch

・Combos can now be canceled even when only hit by back attack blasts.
・The direction in which opponents, hit by back attacks, are blown away have been changed, making it easier to chain combos.

In consideration with how the addition of the Fiery Raid Alter Special has made it easier to chain combos, we have changed the direction in which opponents are blown away.
Plus, combos can now be cancelled even when only hit by blasts from this gum weapon's yo-yo as well.
You will no longer be able to shake off your opponent with back attacks, but you will now be able to deal more damage against opponents that are slightly far away.

Matsuri Board Camu Camu Plate Ninja Carpet

・The following adjustments have been made to the 1st stage of normal attacks and back attacks:
 Accelerated the occurrence of attacks.
 Sped up combo chain timing.
Sped up cancel timing when jumping and dodging when attacks hit.

Matsuri Board had lower combat ability against other players when compared to other gum weapons, making it difficult to fight with.
It has therefore been adjusted to be stronger when used to attack other players.

Paw-xing Gloves Ogre Gloves

・The following adjustments have been made to normal attacks and back attacks when a Special is active.
Reduced the time that you and your opponent are immobilized after guarding.
Reduced opponents' gum depletion when guarding.

Since it is possible to completely deplete an opponent's gum if they guard against the Sky Uppercut Alter Special in a combo, we have adjusted the amount of gum that is depleted.

Potent Poison

・Damage has been increased.
・Expanded attack range.

Like SK8 Hammer type weapons above, it is now easier to break free from poison using ranged attacks from Alter Specials, so it has been strengthened in response.

Blast Barrier

The downtime while Blast Barrier is in effect does not accumulate, so it was possible to get attacked before Blast Barrier had finished.
In response, we have made it so that downtime does accumulate with Blast Barrier, and you will be forcibly blown away when it reaches its maximum.

Sudden Burst

・It has been made so it can be used again after a certain amount of time.

There are many ways to break through an S-Burst, so we have made it so there are more chances to use them.

Two-Edged Parry

・Made it so neither party can dodge during a parry.
・Reduced the cost of "Damage Guard".

In order for Two-Edged Parry to live up to its name, we have heightened the tension during parries.

Gum Guard Master

・The effects of Damage Guard have received the following adjustments:
Before: Reduced damage suffered after a failed gum guard with Damage Guard
After: The time during which you cannot blow bubbles after a gum guard is shortened with Reduced Cooldown
・Reduced the cost of "Reduced Cooldown".

Although Damage Guard had a strong effect, it was restrictive and hard to use, and therefore had a low usage rate overall.
Therefore, we have changed it so that it has more chances to be used.
You gum will shrink in size temporarily after performing a Gum Guard, but you will be able to get it back up to normal size faster by equipping this Assist Code.
It will useful for players who guard a lot, allowing strategies like countering with a large size Gum Shoot right after guarding.

Starting Dash

・Relaxed the negative effect of slowing down the recovery speed of S-Energy.

Starting Dash had many drawbacks, and could only be used by a select few gum weapons.
Therefore, we have made it available for more gum weapons and relaxed its drawbacks.

Giant Killer

・Removed usage limit so that it can be activated an unlimited number of times.

Since Starting Dash was weakened, there were less chances to defeat opponents using big weapons.
Therefore, we have removed its usage limits, and strengthened it so you can get IPPONs more easily.

Parting Utsusemi

・The effects of Replenish allies' S-Energy have received the following adjustments:
Before: Allies caught in the blast of Parting Utsusemi will get a boost to their S-Energy gauge with Replenish allies' S-Energy
After: Allies caught in the blast of Parting Utsusemi will get a boost to their Ninjutsu Gauge with Allies' Ninjutsu Gauge+
・When Allies' Ninjutsu Gauge+ is equipped, a special effect will now display for blasts.

It was difficult to gain the effects of Replenish allies' S-Energy, and therefore was of little benefit.
As such, we have changed it so that it increases allies' Ninjutsu Gauge so that it is more beneficial.

Gum Boost Impact

・The time it takes for a Gum Boost to create a shockwave has been shortened.
・The shockwave after a Gum Boost ends has been altered so that it is slightly delayed.
Shockwaves will not occur if you bend backwards, dodge, jump, or attack before it occurs.

Currently, Gum Boost Impact requires Gum Boost to be active for a long time, resulting in it being difficult to utilize.
Therefore, we have made it easier to use by making it so shockwaves occur even when Gum Boost is used for a shorter period of time.
In exchange, the occurrence of shockwaves after Gum Boost ends has been slightly delayed so that shockwaves can be guarded more easily using Gum Guard.

Battle Adjustments

Adjustments to Character Damage+

・There will be an upper limit of character Damage+ so that the character doesn't surpass this upper limit in case of receiving multiple damage increases.

So that more damage than expected is not dealt when effected by a Set-Drone or multiple abilities, or receiving multiple Damage+ effects, an upper limit for Damage+ has been put in place.
The main reason for this was the large Damage+ effect gained from Set-Drones.

Set-Drone Adjustments

・Set-Drones are now invulnerable from when they appear to when they land, and they can no longer be shot down during this period.
If a Set-Drone is shot down in Sphinx Valley, the team closest to the Set-Drone would gain an advantage in Team Battles.
Therefore we have made it so that Set-Drones cannot be shot down to make it more fair.

Battle Royale Adjustments

These Battle Royale adjustments were made in response to how gum weapon usage rates leaned to strongly towards those who could destroy drones easier.
Therefore, we have adjusted drone health, player KOs, and scores obtained when destroying drones.

Drone Adjustments

・Increased health for DARUMA Drones (M).
・Increased health for KABUKI Drones (L).
Drones had low health in Battle Royale, so that they could be destroyed right away. This made it difficult to compete with opponents for drones.
In response, we have made changes to drone health and how scores are obtained.
The time required to destroy DARUMA and KABUKI drones has been increased, and it is now easier for battles to break out near drones.

Score Adjustments

・Decreased score earned when destroying DARUMA Drones (M).
・Decreased score earned when destroying KABUKI Drones (L).
・Increased score earned when KOing an opponent with a medium weapon.
・Increased score earned when KOing an opponent with a big weapon.
*IPPON bonus scores and Ninjutsu scores have not been changed.
These changes have been made to give weapons effective in combat more of a chance to be used.
Scores when KOing an opponent have been increased, while scores from destroying drones have been decreased, so you can more easily use combat gum weapons near drones.
Although scores obtained from destroying drones have been decreased, since drone health has been increased, you can get a higher score than before by destroying a drone on your own.
Therefore, you will still be able to use the strategy of targeting drones exclusively.

Resolution of Known Issues

・Various adjustments and bug fixes have been implemented to ensure a smooth and enjoyable gameplay experience.
