Ninja-Gum
Equip different varieties of Ninja-Gum to alter the look of your gum weapons. Note that appearance has no effect upon their performance in battle.
Ninja-Gum displayed with a "∞" (infinity) icon in your closet may be used indefinitely. All other types of Ninja-Gum will be consumed when used in battle.
Ninja-Gum allowing you to customize your appearance is available primarily from the Gumball Machine.
If you purchase a Ninjala Pass for a given season, you can use any type of Ninja-Gum without restriction for the duration of that season.
Avatar Items
"Avatar items" is a catch-all term referring to all costumes, accessories, and other items that alter the outward appearance of your avatar.
They can be obtained via Ninjala Pass or purchased from shops.
Please note that avatar items alter your appearance only, and do not affect your abilities in battle.
Hairstyle
The hairstyle option allows you to switch between different hairstyles.
The hair color option allows you to change your hair color.
New hairstyles can be obtained via Ninjala Pass or purchased from shops.
Face
From your closet, you can customize your avatar's face.
You can also change your avatar's skin and eye color.
Costumes
Costumes refer to various outfit sets comprised of clothing, shoes, and so forth.
You cannot change individual clothes or shoes separately.
Music and the Shinobuzz Sound System
From your closet, you can set a battle theme that will play when you are in the lead in any given battle.
Shinobuzz Sound is a system by which battle music is automatically switched to the theme song of the player in first place.
This feature can be enabled or disabled from the Options menu.
Headgear
There are various types of accessories that can be worn on the head.
These include multiple varieties of hats, headphones, and more.
Certain types of headgear cannot be equipped together with facial accessories.
Facial Accessories
There are various types of accessories that can be worn on the face.
These include glasses, masks, and more.
Gum Bottles
Gum bottles are a type of avatar item designed to carry Ninja-Gum.
They can also be used to store Shinobi Cards.
Emotes
Emotes are animations that can be used to communicate or express emotion in battle.
By assigning an emote, you can perform it mid-battle.
You can also set emotes to be displayed at the beginning of battle, and upon victory or defeat.
They can be obtained via Ninjala Pass or purchased from shops.
Sticker
Stickers are special illustrations that can be assigned to facilitate communication.
They can be obtained via Ninjala Pass or purchased from shops.
IPPON Decorations
These are special animations that will be displayed when you score an IPPON.
They can be obtained via Ninjala Pass or purchased from shops.
Gum Utsusemi
This item allows you to morph into different forms in battle.
You can customize your avatar's face from your closet.
These items can be purchased at the in-game shop.
Body Paint
Unlike with Skin Color, Body Paint is an item that allows you to paint your entire body with different colors.
Body Paint can be set through the "Select Color" option in your Closet's Avatar Equipment menu.
Fashion Lenses
This is an item that changes the appearance of your eyes.
You can adjust your fashion lenses by going to Avatar Equipment → Fashion Lenses.
You can also change your eye color while still wearing fashion lenses.
