In order to celebrate, there will be a commemorative campaign and Fishing Tournaments.
There will be tons of fun changes in this update, including the addition of the brand-new Shinobi Card "Gambler Card".

A new activity has been spotted in the Visual Lobby WNA Resort—Ninjala Fishing.
You can enjoy fishing in the shores and ponds of the WNA Resort!
The controls and fish you can catch differ depending on the type of rod you use, giving you a realistic fishing experience!

The fish you catch will be registered to your Aquapedia.
Get fishing and aim to complete your Aquapedia!

Gum Weapon Parameter Adjustments

The Ninjala development team is dedicated to ensuring that players can enjoy a wide variety of battling styles.
After careful observation of winning percentages by each gum weapon and weapon popularity, we have implemented a host of balance adjustments.

The focus of these adjustments was to strengthen Iron Noise, Drum Beat, Matsuri Board, Camu Camu Plate, and Ninja Carpet, all of which have low winning and usage percentages, as well as adjustments to auto-proximity for weapons.
Plus, there will also be adjustments to the S-Burst and Parry systems.

We hope these refinements will allow players to continue to enjoy diverse styles of play in Ninjala battles.
*Auto-proximity refers to the act of approaching opponents when attacking with various weapons and break attacks.
*Balance adjustments will also take effect in Story Mode.

IPPON Katana Scroll Blade Shinobuzz Paper Fan

・Hit detection for the 1st stage of normal attacks has been moved towards the front and has been made easier to hit with.
・Increased the duration of hits for the 1st stage of back attacks.
・Slowed cancel timing for jumping and dodging when Charging Slash misses.

Since its weapon attacks couldn't adapt to opponents and kept missing, landing hits has been made easier.
Additionally, since the character's position would sometimes shift when jump canceling Charging Slash, cancel timing has been adjusted to be less affected by slow connections.

Drill Beast Corn Bat Bird Drill

・The 1st stage of normal attacks have received the following adjustments:
 Hit detection range has been increased.
 Attack detection has been moved forward, making it easier to hit with.
・Increased the duration of hits for the 1st stage of back attacks.

Since its weapon attacks couldn't adapt to opponents and kept missing, landing hits has been made easier.

Scrap Saber Chewing V

・Increased the duration of hits for back attacks.

Since its back attacks couldn't adapt to opponents and kept missing, landing hits has been made easier.

SK8 Hammer Sushi Axe GR8 Gear

・Back attacks have received the following adjustments:
 Slowed the occurrence of attacks.
 Hit detection range has been reduced.
・Reduced the number of hits for wide attacks and variations, and made overall adjustments.

Back attacks were effective at destroying drones and made it too easy to get a high score, so their power has been slightly reduced.
The number of hits for wide attacks and variations have been reduced to be less affected by slow connections. Damage, downtime, and Ninjutsu Gauge increase have been adjusted to compensate.

Iron Noise Drum Beat

・Decreased the downtime of normal attacks.
・Back attacks have received the following adjustments:
 Sound wave downtime has been decreased.
 Accelerated sound waves and the occurrence of sonic bullets.
・The following adjustments have been made to "Echoing Scream":
 Added hit detection right before sound waves occur.
 Slowed the occurrence of sound waves.
 Slowed down combo chain timing.
 Sound wave hit detection has been moved forward, making it easier to hit with.
・Added hit detection at the same time High Tempo Beat occurs.
・Increased the Cooldown recovery amount for Feedback.

While these weapons were great at destroying drones, they lacked combat power and therefore have been strengthened.
Downtime for each weapon has been decreased, so it will be easier to defeat opponents, especially when using sound waves.
Hit detection has also been added to the weapons' Specials, so they can now be used even when they would have been disabled before and as counters.
In particular, Echoing Scream has been adjusted so sound wave attacks can hit multiple times. Sound wave hit timing has also been adjusted, so it will be easier to use for interruption.

Pop Eye Cerberus

・Slowed cancel timing for jumping and dodging when back attacks miss.
・The following adjustments have been made to Dragon God Motor:
 Cooldown right after activation can now recover.
 Dragon God Motor can now be activated again even when its effects are currently in use.
 Cooldown time has been extended.
 Effect active duration has been shortened.

Although Dragon God Motor's effects would reset after defeating an opponent, its opening attack was slow to activate, so it has been made easier to use.
Dragon God Motor's cooldown and effect duration have also been adjusted so it can be used frequently even after defeating an opponent.
Additionally, since the character's position would sometimes shift when jump canceling back attacks, cancel timing has been adjusted to be less affected by slow connections.

Extreme Motor DJ Scratch

・Slowed cancel timing for jumping and dodging when the 1st stage of normal attacks miss.
・Back attacks have received the following adjustments:
 Slowed occurrence.
 Slowed cancel timing for jumping and dodging when attacks miss.
・The following adjustments have been made to "Fiery Raid":
 Continuous damage frequency has been increased.
 You will now move farther when attacking.

Back attacks had great reach and returns, plus little risk if they miss, so they have been weakened.
In exchange, Fiery Raid has been strengthened, so its Alter Special is recommended if you plan on focusing on mid-range combat.
Additionally, since the character's position would sometimes shift when jump canceling normal attacks, cancel timing has been adjusted to be less affected by slow connections.

Matsuri Board Camu Camu Plate Ninja Carpet

・The following adjustments have been made to the 1st stage of normal attacks and back attacks:
 Hit detection range has been increased.
 You will now move farther when attacking.
・Increased the duration of hits for the 1st stage of back attacks.
・Slightly increased damage dealt from the 1st stage of wide attacks.
・Increased Auto-proximity distance.
・Increased attack movement distance.
 *Attack movement refers to the distance you move towards the opponent using Auto-proximity.
・Shortened the cooldown time of Sweet Ride.
・The following adjustments have been made to "Sonic Trick":
 Enhanced the attack up multiplier from Trick.
 Cooldown time has been reduced.
 Sped up combo chain timing.
 You will continue to aim in the direction of your target even if you move away.
 The homing abilities of normal shockwaves and back shockwaves have been increased.
 Range has been extended for normal shockwaves and back shockwaves.
 Hit detection range has been increased for back shockwaves.
 Slightly increased damage dealt from wide shockwaves.
 Increased the duration of hits for wide shockwaves.
 Hit detection range has been reduced for wide shockwaves.
 Wide shockwaves can now pierce terrain, drones, and characters.

Auto-proximity has been extended due to a lack of power when your Special couldn't be used. Now, you will be able to attack without retaliation against other weapons.
You will now be able to use each weapons' attacks along with Gum Shoots to pick off opponents from even further away.
Additionally, since its weapon attacks couldn't adapt to opponents and kept missing, landing hits has been made easier.
Unlike Sweet Ride, Sonic Trick was a Special designed for diversionary attacks. As a result, this made it lacking in overall power, which has lead to it being strengthened.
The range for each kind of shockwave has been extended, so you will be able to get more out of mid-range combat.

Home Run Surfer Ninja Calibur

・Hit detection for the 1st stage of normal attacks has been moved towards the front and has been made easier to hit with.
・Increased the duration of hits for the 1st stage of back attacks.

Since its weapon attacks couldn't adapt to opponents and kept missing, landing hits has been made easier.

Paw-xing Gloves Ogre Gloves

・Increased the duration of hits for the 1st stage of back attacks.
・Slowed cancel timing for jumping and dodging when the 1st stage of normal attacks miss when Overflowing Power is active.

Since its back attacks couldn't adapt to opponents and kept missing, landing hits has been made easier.
Additionally, since the character's position would sometimes shift when jump canceling the 1st stage of normal attacks when Overflowing Power is active, cancel timing has been adjusted to be less affected by slow connections.


Ninja Sense Pro

・When auto-targeting an opponent, S-Energy recovery will now be increased.

It will be easier to move around than normal when your senses are sharpened.

Berserker

・Your damage against drones will no longer be reduced when your S-Energy gauge is maximized.

Berserker had a lot of drawbacks and was especially hard to use in Battle Royale, so the conditions for these drawbacks have been relaxed.

Life Drain

・Removed negative effects when life recovery rate is slowed down.

Recovery effects for Shinobi Cards overall were losing out to Assist Codes, so negative effects have been removed for better balance.
Turnabout Guard and more will now be easier to use, and will become a great Shinobi Card for continuous battle.

Quick Respawn

・Lowered maximum uses from 3 times to 2 times.

Quick Respawn is a very strong Shinobi Card with high usage and victory rates, so its power has been lowered.
As a result, you will need to be more careful about when to activate it.

Iron Bind

・Decreased the life recovery gained from Life Recovery.

Due to the life recovery rate being high for its requirements compared to other Shinobi Cards and Assist Codes, it has been weakened.


Battle Adjustments

S-Burst Adjustments
・When activating S-Burst, downtime will continue until it is activated.
・S-Energy required to activate S-Burst has been changed from 5 to 4.
・Made it more difficult for S-Burst to be expended.

Ever since the introduction of Alter Specials, there have been many long-range attacks that aren't affected by S-Burst, so they have been adjusted to be easier to use.
Until now, S-Burst downtime would reset if it missed, so you would end up being hit by more attacks than usual.
Now, downtime will continue and required S-Energy has been reduced to 4, making it slightly easier to use.
Additionally, S-Burst will no longer be expended as easily, making it easier to plan when to use it.
Parry Adjustments
・During a Parry, if your opponent chooses to dodge, your S-Energy will now recover.

There used to be less of a risk by dodging a parry, but now that your opponent will gain S-Energy, you will now have to decide which is less risky.
*If both parties choose to dodge, S-Energy will not be recovered.

Resolution of Known Issues

・Fixed an issue in which Beast Attack damage would not occur when activating Shinobi Beast while setting the yo-yo of ASAKUSA Wheel.
・Various adjustments and bug fixes have been implemented to ensure a smooth and enjoyable gameplay experience.
